Boy or Girl?
So - following in my sister in law's blog poll, I thought I would create one of my own. Any guesses as to the gender of this next baby? My ultrasound is scheduled for Tuesday, October 27th at 2:30pm. The poll (located on the right side of this blog) will run until that morning. Happy guessing!

I couldn't have said it ANY better
I read this article today on The Pioneer Woman's homeschooling blog. The best homeschool blog post ever.
I love homeschooling. I love the freedom, the flexibility, the knowledge that *I* am teaching my child. I love how I can see what Kaelyn is learning. I love the relationship that Kaelyn is building not only with me, but especially with Cooper. I love the homeschool community and the relationships we ALL are finding.
But, man oh man, is the month of October hard! Reality stinks.

All Aboard!
My kids have been darn cute today. And they've been playing SO well together! It's fun to watch them be creative and make things. Today they made a train.
(According to Kaelyn) They took the train to Oregon and continued down the Oregon Trail. Then they went to Seattle. :)
They ate lunch on the train and then decided that they wanted to be The Pirates Who Don't Do Anything (from VeggieTales) and built themselves a pirate ship. Here is "Captain Larry" trying to find his way around the newly created pirate ship. I overheard them say that they were "sailing the seven seas".
